A Good Health Protocol

For good health I religiously adhere to the following protocol.  Everyone can take these products; even people who still have amalgam (mercury) dental fillings.  However, I want to start with a warning.

Do NOT take acetaminophen/paracetamol, or anything containing them.  Read labels carefully.  Be extremely careful of any OTC medicine.  Acetaminophen is a reductase inhibitor, meaning it won’t let your liver detoxify.  It’s made from coal.  Throw this stuff in the garbage.  It’s purposely designed so that your body can NOT get rid of the toxins that are making you sick.  It ‘work’s by preventing you from reacting to offending allergens.  Tylenol contains acetaminophen.  Nyquil contains acetaminophen.  Sudafed contains acetaminophen.  Antidepressants contain acetaminophen or some other type of reductase inhibitor. Statins will not let your body detoxify.

In this blog I go into details on the dangers of Tylenol and Acetaminophen.
Here is a list of 3 things that I do everyday.

1.  I take a high dose buffered ascorbate.  High dose vitamin C has been given a bad wrap.  The only creatures that don’t make vitamin C are the guinea pig, the monkey, and the human.  You can’t take too much vitamin C.  Do you know what happens if you take too much vitamin C?  Your body flushes out accumulated intestinal toxins.  Hasta La Vista, Baby!

2.  PABA has been given a bad wrap.  The healthcare-industry misinformation campaign is never clear on how PABA supposedly poisons us.  Yet, they use PABA to determine if a person is sick by feeding the person PABA, then testing the urine to see how much PABA is released.  If PABA is retained by the patient, and not in the urine, they then recommend some of their patented for-profit medicines.  The only reason a person would retain PABA was if their body needed it!

Take a one gram a day of PABA to feed the bacteria in your belly.  If you are currently on antibiotics, do NOT take PABA.  Read this link to understand how PABA works.  Think of PABA as needed vitamins for your good bacteria.

3.  It’s important to make and eat your own sauerkraut, and it's easy to do.  Most store bought sauerkraut is pasteurized, so there is nothing living in the jar.  You want good living bacteria in your belly, and prebiotic sauerkraut is the best source.  Think of sauerkraut as needed fodder for your workhorse bacteria.

Chop a head of cabbage into fine pieces, and put them into a wide-mouth glass gallon jar.  Set this jar onto a plate.  Add water and set a glass tumbler filled with water inside the mouth of the jar to keep the sauerkraut submerged.  The glass should stick up out of the jar about an inch.  Let a little water from within the jar run over the edge and onto the plate. 

24 hours later pour the sauerkraut water down the sink with your hand over the mouth of the jar to keep the sauerkraut inside.  Refill the jar with water and pour it out again.  You are washing away the gaseous bacteria.   

Again, fill the jar with water.  Add two tablespoons of sea salt.  Do not use iodized salt; the good bacteria will not grow.  Put a lid on the gallon jar and shake it to distribute the salt.  Set the jar back onto the plate, remove the lid, and again set the glass tumbler in the mouth of the jar to submerge the sauerkraut.  72 hours later test your sauerkraut.  I do this with a pair of chopsticks.

You cannot get poisoned from your sauerkraut.  I was conditioned to believe that the only thing safe to eat is dead food in safety sealed packaging from a corporation.

The healthcare industry has us convinced that we make ourselves sick by worrying, or that we have a nervous disposition.  We don’t get ulcers from worrying; we get ulcers from unhealthy bacterial microbiomes warring with one another.  Experiencing these wars stresses us out.  Clean up the gut bacteria, and the stress goes away on it’s own.

For optimal health, I recommend products that are natural to our well-being, and only ones that can be found in the grocery or health food store.  Everything I recommend I do myself.  Everything I do is on my website, and everyone can use my site to get back to good health, naturally.  However, some people can be very deep in the woods, allergic to just about everything, while suffering from chronic pain and inflammation.  Many times their intestines are a wreck, and their body is putting on weight to protect itself from toxins.  Getting people back to a state of well being, naturally, takes time, patience, attention to detail, and experience.

A Buffered L-Ascorbate Cleanse - #LAscorbateCleanse

The reason we use L-Ascorbate as our Vitamin C, is that this molecular form of Ascorbate is L-shaped, and it fits exactly to our cells like a puzzle piece, it is 100% assimilated.

Any human completely cut off from Vitamin C will quickly grow sick with scurvy.  It takes about 30 days.  If they still don't get Vitamin C they will die within 90 to 120 days. 

Lucky for us, most other plants and animals on earth make their own vitamin C.  Like it or not, we get our vitamin C by consuming them.

Vitamin C is needed for the growth and repair of tissues throughout the body. It helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels.   Vitamin C is needed for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth.

Vitamin C is necessary to makethe collagen we need to repair our intestines.  Without vitamin C, we will become constipated and grow sick.  There is NO substitute for the health of our intestines.

Vitamin C deficiency is at the root cause of most diseases today.  The only mammals that don't make vitamin C are the human, the monkey, and the guinea pig.  It's of the utmost importance to our health that we are flush with vitamin C. 

There are many forms of vitamin C but they are all forms of ascorbic acid.    The word ascorbate comes from anticorbutic, meaning to fight scurvy, A- (meaning "No") and Scorbutus (Scurvy.)   Ascorbic acid is one form of vitamin C.  Ascorbate is another form.  And yet another form of scientifically made vitamin C is L-Ascorbate.  I recommend only L-Ascorbate as a supplemental form because of it's bioavailability to our cells. 

Scurvy does not occur in most animals as they can make their own vitamin C.  However, humans and other higher primates lack an enzyme (L-gulonolactone oxidase) necessary for such synthesis and must obtain vitamin C through their diet.

Initial symptoms of vitamin c deficiency, and scurvy can be:

Feeling very tired and weak all the time (fatigue)
A general sense of feeling "out of sorts" – such as feeling irritable and miserable all the time
Pain in your limbs – particularly your legs

If you have gotten this far, you have to read this:

Our body microbiome has a very delicate balance.  There are 10 times more bacteria in our bodies than our own cells.  One course of antibiotics could turn the bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract from predominantly aerobic to anaerobic bacteria.  Anaerobic bacteria are fermenting cells and feed predominantly on sugars.   When we have cravings for foods like chocolate, or a sweet treat, it is our body’s microbiome commanding us to feed it.

Some anaerobes incorporate mercury into their cell structures, and in the case of candida or even spirochetes from Lyme, these bacteria, and protozoans suspend our body's burden of mercury; they literally protect the organs of the body from mercury.  If we kill of this bacteria, the body can have a severe adverse reaction to the released mercury.  In the Lyme disease world this is called a Herxheimer’s response, but it really should be called acute mercury poisoning.  

There are two kinds of mercury poisoning; chronic and acute mercury poisoning.  The one thing that should never be done is to move from a long term chronic state of mercury poisoning into an acute state. 

There are different kinds of vitamin c. The ascorbic acid is the most acidic one, and least likely to be absorbed by cells. A buffered ascorbate is a better one, and the best is L-Ascorbate because it is almost 100% absorbed.

Before starting any detox regimen, we need our intestines to be in tip top shape. It is also important to be well hydrated before starting. Initially doing a full ascorbate flush is important, because without having the intestines clear, we mayjust be redistributing toxins. To do the flush I recommend you double your dose every hour, until you flush. Full on flush, not diarrhea, but like both spigots are turned on in the tub. Once your bowels are clean, then when your body has somewhere it can safely send toxins.

Our cells getting filled up with vitamin C is a bit like Christmas for them. Like they are each getting more and more presents in their arms and they’re greedily saying to one another, “Gee this is great. Isn’t this great!” And then one of them goes, “Guys, guys, I can’t hold anymore of these presents (vitamin C)," and it lets loose, and this causes all the other cells to release together. There is literally a cascade of cells dumping their toxins. That's a full flush, when the intestines are releasing ONLY liquid, and it's relatively clear. Nothing coming out but discolored water.

The best product in the world for doing the cleanse, and for our vitamin C supplementation is the L-Ascorbate from Perque, which contains a balanced blend of calcium, , magnesium, potassium, and zinc.

This is the basic protocol for the cleanse.

PIck one of the following doses of L-Ascorbate based upon your needs.  Continue following the protocol until the bowels are completely emptied of their contents, then one more teaspoon, and then stop.  Most adults will use between 12 and 25 teaspoons. 

This protocol is for a child.
1/4 teaspoon every 15 minutes for the 1st hour
1/2teaspoon every 15 minutes for the 2nd hour
1 teaspoon every 15 minutes for the 3rd hour
2 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 4th hour

If you are going to help your child do a cleanse, you must have done the cleanse previously, so you know what your child will experience.  The L-Ascorbate can be added to juice.

This protocol is for a healthy person.
1/2 teaspoon every 15 minutes for the 1st hour
1 teaspoon every 15 minutes for the 2nd hour
2 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 3rd hour
3 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 4th hour

This protocol is for a moderately healthy person.
1 teaspoon every 15 minutes for the 1st hour
2 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 2nd hour
3 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 3rd hour
4 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 4th hour

This protocol is for a person that is sick.
2 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 1st hour
3 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 2nd hour
4 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 3rd hour
5 teaspoons every 15 minutes for the 4th hour

When you fully flush your intestines, take one more teaspoon and then stop.   You may have a full cleanse after only 6 teaspoons, or it may take you 25 teaspoons, a whopping 100 grams.  Most people seem to release at about the two hour mark.  When you fully release, take one more teaspoon and then stop.  I have never known anyone to go beyond 3 1/2 hours.  Maybe you will be the first.  The goal is to have the intestines flush as if both spigots were turned on in the tub.  A loose bowl movement is not sufficient, nor is runny diarrhea.  The discharge needs to be of at least a yellow color with NO solids.

The L-ascorbate cleanse dumps the mercury-toxic bile out of the intestines. By flushing this bile, it allows the body to send the toxins to the intestines.  It creates a vacuum, or a void if you will, and you will be training your cells, organs, and systems that it's ok to release the mercury, you will provide it with a safe, efficient place to send it.  I describe the relief one has of doing the cleanse as the relief of pulling out the biggest, ugliest splinter you have ever had.  It's a wonderful feeling, and I've never known anyone to complain about the results.

75% of the dose that you need to cleanse is your (BT) bowel tolerance level.  If you needed 20 tsp (teaspoon) to cleanse, your BT level is 15 tsp.  If you took 12 tsp, then your BT is 8 tsp, and if you needed 40 tsp, your BT is 30 tsp.  This is very important.  STAY AT YOUR BOWEL TOLERANCE LEVEL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.  When you stay at your BT, your bowel tolerance level will lower very quickly because your body will no longer be deficient.  For some of us who initially needed 30 tsp, our BT is now 3 tsp.


Add magnesium glycinate in large amounts spread it out over the day to retain as much as possible.  If you get the runs, and you don't want another clean out, cut back the dose to just under BT for it.

Choline/Inositol will help pull excess sulfur out of your body, sulfur that you may be irritating to your intestinal lining.  Try 1 to 2 grams a day and then cut back.

Use L-Glutamine up to 1.5 grams if the inflammation is bad enough. Then cut back the dose, and possible eliminate supplementation once you get it under control.

Homemade sauerkraut is greatly beneficial to our health.  Sauerkraut was used to prevent scurvy in the golden age of sail. The curing of the cabbage produces vitamin C!   This is the BEST way to get probiotics, salt and vitamin C together in an all natural from.

It's important to feed your intestinal microbiome with probiotics after you cleanse.  The best probiotic is your own homemade sauerkraut.  It's incredibly easy to make.  If you do not have your own sauerkraut available, I recommend Bubbies Sauerkraut.  Bubbies is not pasteurized (heated) so it is loaded with probiotics, and is much much better than any expensive probiotic on the market.

If you are worried about Oxalates, it is important that you read this so you no longer have to worry.  I occasionally work with someone who has been scared by another person, or something that they read that says Vitamin C causes an Oxalate problem.  This is simply NOT true.

It's important to understand the use of the word Natural when it comes to vitamins, especially vitamin C. It is 10,000 times more likely a "Natural" vitamin c is going to be tainted with mercury than an L-Ascorbate. It has to do with the chemical process used to produce vitamin C. Twenty percent of chlor-alkali (caustic soda) processes in the USA are mercuric cell processes. We have NO idea how it's being made in CHINA.
