For thousands of years salt has been the key to good health. In the 1930's Gandhi began the overthrow of the British Empire by walking to the ocean and collecting salt. Governments collected taxes in salt. Roman soldiers were paid in salt, and we get the word salary from the Latin for salt. #SaltIsLife
Salt deficiency is associated with a low body pH, which is in turn associated with many health problems, such as low kidney, liver, and brain function; disruption of enzymatic activity; poor immune function; hormonal imbalances; and a host of chronic degenerative diseases including cancer.
Start your day, everyday, with a teaspoon of either Himalayan salt or Celtic Sea Salt . If you begin to swell up it means your body is deficient in salt. If you find yourself craving more, your body is telling you it wants more salt, not less.
Do not use industrial salt that hints at being either sea salt or some kind of 'healthy salt'. Read the ingredients. If there are anti-caking agents, throw the salt in garbage. DO NOT USE TABLE SALT.
Get off of sugar and start ingesting salt. You will naturally find your optimum dose by listening to your body. It will tell you want it wants when you begin to get salt cravings. When you get a salt craving, give your body salt. It's that simple.
Your body may want 3 teaspoons of salt a day, it may want 12 teaspoons of salt a day. Give your body what it craves.
Before ingesting more salt, start with a salt cleanse.
This will clean out your intestines and get you ready for a detox.
Don't get constipated.
DO NOT INGEST SALT AND REMAIN CONSTIPATED.
Salt is an incredible detoxing agent, and by ingesting it your body will start moving toxins.
This is why it's very important to do a SALT cleanse first.

The healthcare industry scared us off of salt so that they can profit from salt deficiencies. And we listened because when we ingest salt we have detox reaction(s), and then associate those reactions to salt intake. People think, “I'M SWELLING!!!!!” And then they swear off of salt, and for-profit healthcare supports this notion. The salt is killing a whole bunch of unwanted pathogens, and drawing toxins out of our body. Our body is a salt bubble, and when we have enough salt, the salt goes to the outer most part of our body and protects us. The healthcare industry has hidden this, and instead suggests we drink Gatorade.
Salt has played a vital part in religious ritual in many cultures, symbolizing purity. Merchants in 12th century Timbuktu, the gateway to the Sahara Desert and the seat of scholars, valued salt as highly as books and gold.

THE HISTORY OF SALT
There are two oceans of water in the body; one ocean is held inside the cells of the body, and the other ocean is held outside the cells. Good health depends on a most delicate balance between the volume of these oceans, and this balance is achieved by salt - unrefined salt.
A French doctor by the name of René Quinton discovered as early as 1897 that sea water is 98% identical to blood. Sea water needs an extra molecule of magnesium while blood needs an extra molecule of iron. Other than that they are identical.
A salt road (also known as a salt route, salt way, saltway, or salt trading route) is any of the prehistoric and historical trade routes by which essential salt has been transported to regions that lacked it (see History of salt).
This link lists the different types of salt, their sources, and their qualities. I like the article, but I don't like the conclusion that there is no difference in salts. Table salt has anti-caking agents in it, and that means aluminum and other factory processed ingredients added in. However, if you aren't using iodized salt, you need another source(s) of iodine.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF SALT
The following link has what is called the Lyme Salt and Vitamin C protocol. On my own journey I have discovered that for my entire adult life I was plagued by infections, including chronic long term Lyme disease. I have read this protocol, and practice it now. I have not found any credible sources on line the refute the effectiveness of this treatment for Lyme disease.

HOW TO SALT WATER FLUSH
Ann Gunn's Salt Flush:
Upon waking in the morning and on an empty stomach, mix together in a 4 quart measuring cup or similar.
2 tsps of unrefined sea salt, like Celtic Salt
32 oz of spring water.
Stir together until completely dissolved. Drink down as quickly as possible. (This gets easier after the first time.) Within 30 minutes you should start to feel gurgling and movement. Within an hour you should start to flush. Be sure to drink sufficient water throughout the day to keep the movement of toxins out through the colon.
The key to success here is the salinity or concentration of the solution. If it is too high, the salt will get absorbed and not help the colon flush its contents. This is also easier once you have done the L-ascorbate cleanse, thus I recommend it first and do not attempt both on the same day. You will more than likely need to go to the bathroom more than once, so it is a good idea to plan stay near a toilet for several hours afterwards.

For a fast and effective salt flush. First thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, before breakfast and coffee, add one teaspoon of SALT to a glass of water and drink it down. Do this every 15 minutes until you get a good flush. Be sure to use an all natural sea salt, one that is varied in color and size, and that is clumpy. If it is pure white, do NOT use this salt.

ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE SOLE
- Fill the jar about 1/4 of the way with Himalayan Salt, Real Salt or Celtic Salt (or a mixture of the three).
- Add filtered water to fill the jar, leaving about an inch at the top.
- Put on the plastic lid and shake the jar gently.
- Leave on the counter overnight to let the salt dissolve.
- The next day, if there is still some salt on the bottom of the jar, the water has absorbed its maximum amount of salt and the
