Methylating Genes

Mutants R Us

#GeneticExpression

In regards to genetic mutations, the MTHFR gene, or others; we are all mutants.  Everyone has MUTANT genes, but every one of us needs the same basic essentials for human life.  We need Oxygen, Sulfur, Vitamin C, etc, and we all need them in about the same amounts..

We don’t solely breathe in oxygen, taking in the good stuff all the time.  We also have to exhale, to carry away our metabolic waste products.  When we take in essentials, we have to have our internal sanitation departments ready to deal with the garbage created by our use of the good stuff.  Our bodies have to be able to take out the trash.  Our bodies work hard to limit oxidative damage under normal stresses.  If we have contact with toxins, if we have retained toxins or we are redistributing toxins, then we will need more essentials for our bodies to detox and rebuild.  Coming in contact with toxins can make us go deficient in essentials, and this can cause us to shut down our internal sanitation departments.  However, taking in essentials without opening the detox pathways is a very bad idea.  Knowing how to do find this balance, comes from experience, and intuition.

Giving our bodies essentials to function, we step into Macro-Management, not Micromanagement.  When we give our bodies the good stuff, our brains, our thoughts, can then concentrate on greater interests.  We act more Responsible, more like the ‘HEAD’ of our own corporation, with that corporation being our own body.  We act less like disgruntled workers yet again called into Human Resources for some outlandish behavior, or for the umpteenth time sent to the First Aid department.  Here are a couple of examples of Micromanagement.  “I put myself on this weird diet because ‘Mr Expert’ told me it was a good thing, and I believed him, and I promised myself I would do it, and I don’t want to go back on my word.” “I keep taking these supplements, these drugs, these treatments.  I’m not getting better, and in fact, I’m feeling worse and worse.”  These are examples of someone forcing something on their body, like a CEO of a company telling the workers how to do their jobs.  Stop telling your workers, your body, how to do their jobs.  Give your body what it needs to function, and then get out of the way.  Stop Micromanaging your body.

Let’s go back to the genes.

Our genes express themselves differently depending on the circumstances, and this applies to everyone and everyone’s genes.  Just because a person has a marker on their genes for some genetic ‘problem’ doesn’t mean anything.  However, it will mean something if that genetic marker keeps being expressed over, and over, and over again.  For a ‘Micromanager,’ someone that keeps forcing something on their body, their genetic expression, translation, transcription, whatever we want to call it, that can cause some part of the gene to be expressed.  Think of the smoker, or the person overeating, or drinking, forcing it on themselves over and over again.

I see everyone the same, no matter what their genes.  Its the genetic expression that counts, and not whether we have a ‘marker’ for a possible genetic outcome.  People in the business of selling genetic testing, are in the business of selling Micromanagement.  They want you to think what they are doing is important to you and your well-being.

Mercury poisons on the way in, and it poisons on the way out.  Genes express themselves based upon that with which they come in contact.  Keep redistributing mercury without providing a solution to a constant, unwavering redistribution crisis, and your body will step in and take care of the problem.  Your body will express its genes differently depending on that to which it is exposed.

One more time:

Genes express themselves depending on what, and with whom they are in relations.  If you as the CEO, the President of your body, if you keep forcing something onto your body, your body and your genes are going to react to it.  I understand your body may have genes that are more likely to make cancer, gain weight, or have some kind of neurological condition as compared to the next person.  What I want you to do is to remove, or limit those influences on your genetic expressions.  If the neurotoxins, the bad influences are gone, those ‘bad’ genetic markers will not be expressed.

We do NOT have a specific gene that makes us have an anus, an ear, or a belly button.  For example, there is NO such thing as a heart gene.  What happens is when the body makes a cell, it makes it based upon the genes, but that gene expression is in relation to the other neighboring cells.  Your cells follow the herd, and the herd is the neighboring cells.  That newly made cell does what the rest of the gang is doing.  If you keep expressing genes that deal with mercury in a 911 redistribution mode, you are going to end up with some kind of genetic problem.

Heart cells aren’t made for carrying a bunch of toxins.  They are the crew that is going to the gym, everyday, all day, 7 days a week.  The body feeds the heart cells what they need to be heart cells, it grooms them to be workout “Kings and Queens.”  Heart cells aren’t designed to store anything, they are marathon runners, and therefore a neurotoxin like mercury can be disastrous to them.

We all have predisposed genes for handling toxins, and if a toxin like mercury keeps showing up, eventually the body goes, “We gotta stop these mercury atoms from wrecking the place.  We need to do something about this.”  This is where the gene expression comes in, and it plays into it all along.  “If we don’t do something about the mercury continually entering the cardiovascular system, the heart gang may have a heart attack, and then we’re all dead.”

Genetic expressions show up in how the body handles this extreme problem.
The body may flip a switch and start using fat cells as mercury storage sites.  When we move mercury, we start putting on weight, and if you don’t know what’s happening, it can seemingly happen for no reason at all.

For someone else, the way their body may deal with a neurotoxin like mercury, rather than make a gaggle of cancer or fat cells, they may stuff it into nerve cells.  The mercury may go into the joints and then we have ‘Rheumatoid Arthritis.’  Rheumatoid Arthritis is a name someone made up for a general condition.  It is currently classified as an autoimmune disorder, and we are told the causes are unknown.  However, I’m sure soon enough the Micromanagers will find the genes for Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Yes, you may have more difficulty than someone else with some of the basic supplements to human life.  Yes, your genes may be expressing a certain way in the presence of toxins like mercury.  This may be giving you acne, ALS, arthritis, brain fog, cancer, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, and the list goes on and on.

Most of us that have been educating ourselves, working to feel better, have at least one shelf of supplements collecting dust.  Put what you think you know about your genes on that shelf for right now.  You can always go back to it if you need to.  Let’s let our genes do their jobs, and that means we do our job of giving our body what it needs to do its job, and then we get out of the way.  We stop micromanaging our body.

Here are a couple of quotes from Wikipedia’s Gene Expression article.

“Regulation of gene expression refers to the control of the amount and timing of appearance of the functional product of a gene.  Control of expression is vital to allow a cell to produce the gene products it needs when it needs them; in turn, this gives cells the flexibility to adapt to a variable environment, external signals, damage to the cell, and other stimuli. More generally, gene regulation gives the cell control over all structure and function, and is the basis for cellular differentiation, morphogenesis and the versatility and adaptability of any organism.

The following quote comes under the sub-category of ‘Transcriptional Regulation’ from the same article

More recently, it has become apparent that there is a significant influence of non-DNA-sequence specific effects on transcription.  These effects are referred to as epigenetic and involve the higher order structure of DNA, non-sequence specific DNA binding proteins and chemical modification of DNA.  In general, epigenetic effects alter the accessibility of DNA to proteins and so modulate transcription.”

HOLISTIC AND NATURAL
I recommend products that are natural to our well-being, and only ones that can be found in the grocery or health food store.  Everything I recommend I do myself.  Everything I do is on my website, and everyone can use my site to get back to feeling great, naturally.  However, some people can be very deep in the woods, allergic to just about everything, while suffering from chronic pain and inflammation.  Helping people naturally, takes time, patience, attention to detail, and experience.
