My wife and I make a Simple Salve of castor oil and beeswax.  Many people report feeling great from using it.  I have well researched castor oil and want to share with you what I have found.

A SHORT HISTORY OF CASTOR OIL

Castor oil’s long history and varied uses give it the status of an almost supernatural elixir.  Through the ages, castor oil has helped moms’ birth babies millions of times more often than all the other methods combined.  It lubricates heavy equipment, and is used as motor oil in high performance engines of drag-race cars.  In western medicine, it is currently used in chemotherapy, HIV medications, antifungals, anti-bacterials, and as artificial tears for the eyes.  If processed for nefarious reasons, it can make a deadly toxin called ricin.  How can this one seed oil do all of these things?

Castor oil comes from the pressed castor seed and was domesticated more than 6000 years ago.  Currently, about 75% of the world’s castor oil comes from India.  90% of castor oil is composed of a triglyceride, an omega-9 fatty acid called ricinoleic acid.

In ancient Egypt, at the time of the Egyptian pharaohs, castor oil was a primary source of lighting.  It burns evenly and slowly when used with a wick in a shallow lamp.  In 1500 B.C., the earliest known written medical document describes the benefits of castor oil.  Here are some excerpts that have been written about castor oil between that time and the birth of Christ.

“Purge the body with kiki (castor oil) for three days every month.  Castor oil may be used for mal-digestion & constipation.  It can be combined with figs & dates for internal use as a laxative.  Soak roots of castor in water until they dissolve, then apply to the head for a headache.  Rub castor oil around the eyes for relief of irritation.  Use castor oil for skin burns.  Stimulation of labor may be induced with castor oil.  ”

Castor oil was called the Palma Christi, or the “Hand of Christ.”  This is not because it looks like the hand of Christ, as many have written, but because castor oil is anointing oil; it enlightens those it touches.

Many have claimed castor oil to be effective for cleansing the liver and gallbladder, eliminating digestive problems, making wound repairs, reducing or eliminating eczema and psoriasis, ameliorating menopause symptoms, softening the skin, and boosting the immune system.

Before we dive further into castor oil, lets cover some basic bodily processes.

Before we dive further into castor oil, lets cover some basic bodily processes.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SULFUR

Have you ever heard the term, ‘bouncing baby?’

We live on a planet where gravity rules.  We jog, bump into tables, plop down in seats, bend our knees, and tie our shoes.  When we are well, we bounce back from impacts, and we are filled with energy and pep in our step.  We stretch, bend, and we bounce back; we rebound.

Our body uses sulfur to make disulfide bonds, and these are the same type of bonds as those found in vulcanized rubber, which makes rubber strong and bouncy.  Sulfur is why the rubber in tires under pressure and friction doesn’t fly apart like pencil erasers.

Disulfide bonds, or bridges, make up 25% of a form of structural protein called keratin.  There are more than 15 different kinds of keratin in the human body.  Our faces, hair, heels, and nails all have differing types of keratin.  Keratin is found in the synovial fluids of our joints.  Healthy joints bend with ease, easily absorbing impacts, vibrant hair bounces, and beautiful skin is pliable, stretchable, and quickly recovers to its natural form.

Sulfur is the eighth most common element in the human body.  Our feel good glutathione is made with it.  Our pancreas makes insulin with it.  Our cells are resilient when we have lots of sulfur.  Babies born with balanced amounts of sulfur in relation to their other nutrients are bouncy, bubbly, giggly little beings.

Sickly people may be deficient in sulfur, and will often appear weighed down physically, emotionally, and even depressed by the weight of the world.  Many times, they no longer rebound from impacts.  Exercise releases toxins, but with no outlet to dispose of them, a person may end up riding around in an electric scooter, fearful of impacts.  Walking may be painful.

When we are sickly, we may move through life like a flattened pancake, without the resolution to get up and go.  Perhaps you know a person who in a flat, raspy voice, repeats like a broken record, “I don’t feel so good today.  I’m achy.  My joints hurt.  ‘They’ tell me I have some kind of arthritis.  The doctors are going to replace my knees.”

A person talking like this is deficient in sulfur.  They will have disintegrating connective tissues, and maybe even bone-to-bone contact in their joints from a lack of synovial fluids.  They may be diabetic, or pre-diabetic, and lacking energy for activities, even though they would love to do them.

Many of our detox pathways are called sulfur detox pathways.  Sulfur is the defining element of the human body’s feel good glutathione.  However, if much of my glutathione is being used for other purposes, how do you think I will feel?

Incredibly, there is no RDI (recommended dietary intake) for sulfur.  How could the healthcare system, the FDA, CDC, or the NIH (National Institute of Health) forget to include it?  It seems like a big oversight; did I mention sulfur is the eighth most common element in the human body?  Iron selenium and zinc are listed in our foodstuffs, but those are micronutrients.  Why not sulfur?

EPITHELIUM AND ENDOTHELIUM

The outer layer of our skin is called epithelial tissue, and the layers of cells that line our hollow organs are called endothelial tissue.  Underneath both of these layers of tissue, and attached to them, are smooth muscles.

Epithelial and endothelial tissues both set boundaries, acting as fences to foreign invaders.  They are the body’s first line of defense, but are also communal environments.

Our epithelial tissues have lots of keratin in the form of keratinocytes.  The endothelial cells covering our hollow organs have lots of collagen.  Disulfide bonds are necessary to produce collagen.  Almost like end caps of a pill, or capsule, disulfide bonds act like a mold for the production of collagen.  Once the collagen is formed, the disulfide end caps disintegrate.  If we do not have enough sulfur, we cannot make enough collagen to meet our needs.

Castor oil not only helps to preserve the disulfide bonds in the cells of our bodies, but it also spurs their development.  Castor oil is commonly used to stimulate new hair growth.  I believe that the best essential in the world to help us balance is castor oil, and that it acts like a flux in our bodies.  Anyone who has ever soldered a plumbing joint has used flux to do it.  The flux helps distribute the heat and metals evenly, making for well-made joints.  Without flux, the joint may be weak and leaky.  I believe castor oil is a flux for our bodies that help us evenly, and thoroughly distribute needed essentials.

With regular applications of castor oil, I now have beautiful and very evenly tanned skin.  I do not wear a store bought SPF (sun protection factor,) but use the Naturules Simple Salve.

CILIA AND CILIUM

Extending out of every mammalian cell are hair-like projections called cilia.  Some act as primary sensors, and are called non-motile cilia, and some physically move, and are called motile cilia.  There are different types of cilia in different areas of our bodies.

Our inner ears have stereocilia, we have primary cilia in our eyes, and the cilia in our noses act as olfactory receptors.  In our lungs they beat 8 to 22 times a second.  Coughing up phlegm, against the force of gravity, cilia move up and out foreign, or unwanted materials.  The microvilli in our intestines are very similar to cilia.  The hair on our bodies is also similar, although cilia are very very small.

We have three kinds of muscles in our bodies.  Cardiac muscle is located in our hearts.  A second type is voluntary muscle, which is primarily skeletal.  Voluntary muscle allows me to walk, turn my head, and control my fingers to type these words.  Reading this article, your head and eyes may move back and forth with voluntary muscles.

A third type of muscle is involuntary muscle, which can also be called smooth muscle.  Many of our smooth muscle contractions are in response to environmental con.  The pupils of the eyes dilating for varying levels of light are an example of smooth muscle contractions.  Another example is the skin getting goose bumps from a splash of cold water.  Peristalsis in our intestines, the wave like motion our intestines make when we need to have a bowel movement, is a smooth muscle contraction.  Other examples of smooth muscle are the expansion and contraction of the lungs, sinuses, intestinal tract, bladder, kidneys, and venous and lymph systems.

Blood returns to the heart from the extremities of the body through the venous system.  The heart is not pushing, or pulling the blood back to itself.  The cilia lining the epithelium of that system, and the underlying smooth muscles work together to make it happen.  The lymph fluid rises to the base of the skull through smooth muscle contractions, and the wave like motions of the motile-cilia.  An analogy for this is taking a hose and squeezing it, like I would a toothpaste tube, , forcing the contents up and out.

BASIC CASTOR OIL ACTIONS

Even though we have been using castor oil for thousands of years, some of the most basic actions of the ricinoleic acid in it were not understood until 2012.

“EP3 and EP4 are both prostaglandin receptors, which have varied roles in the body, from changing the structure of neurons to controlling how blood clots.  In experiments on mice, researchers showed that ricinoleic acid induces its laxative and labor-inducing effects by interacting with EP3.  By swallowing castor oil, ricinoleic acid latches onto EP3 molecules in smooth muscle cells on the walls of the small intestine and causes contractions, explaining castor oil’s effectiveness as a laxative.  Similarly, the researchers showed that ricinoleic acid binds to EP3 in the uterus and causes contractions.”

Those same EP3 receptors control the action of proton pumps, and parietal cells, which make the acids we use to digest our food.  Triggered EP3 receptors shut them off.  In essence, castor oil tells our body to stop eating, and digesting, and to start pooping.  When contacting castor oil, the endothelial cells and smooth muscles contract, and so do the microvilli that normally absorb nutrients.  Contracting, the cells reduce their surface area, thus smoothing out the nooks and crannies where food is digested, and where pathogens sometimes thrive.

Imagine a donut factory with three major departments.  There is the receiving department that takes in the raw materials, the production department that makes the donuts, and the shipping department that sends them out.

However, someone in purchasing has gone on autopilot, and everyday orders much more materials than needed.  Instead of making donuts, most of the staff spends their time on the receiving dock unloading the raw material.  By the end of the day, the workers never get to do their own jobs.  They hope tomorrow will be better, but again the purchasing agent over orders.  After years of this, the team can barely make and sell enough donuts to keep the lights on in the building.

Compare this processing to a constant intake of food, but comparatively little is distributed to the rest of the body.  Over consumption has the body storing excess materials, packing on the pounds.  There may be rotting, fermenting materials and the body doesn’t have the energy to clean it up, because "Oh NO, here comes another delivery.”

Ricinoleic acid turns off the body’s ability to digest.  Triggering the EP3 receptors, parietal cells and proton pumps stop releasing acids.  Smooth muscle contractions occur, sweeping clean the intestines.  Castor oil trims the sails and lightens the load as the body releases content it doesn’t want, and doesn’t need.  The cells are given a much-needed break from constant intake.  The shipping department gets to take a vacation, even if its just for the weekend.

THE OMENTUM

Attached to the greater curvature of the stomach is an apron like tissue called the omentum, which contains secondary lymphoid organs called milky spots.  I believe the omentum itself to be an organ.

“ The omentum has been used for its healing potential for over 100 years by transposing the omental pedicle to injured organs (omental transposition), but the mechanism by which omentum helps the healing process of damaged tissues is not well understood.  Omental transposition promotes expansion of pancreatic islets, hepatocytes, embryonic kidney, and neurons. Omental cells (OCs) can be activated by foreign bodies in vivo. Once activated, they become a rich source for growth factors and express pluripotent stem cell markers.  Moreover, OCs become engrafted in injured tissues suggesting that they might function as stem cells.”

By turning off the consumption of food, castor oil helps the body repair itself, because the omentum can now turn on and make the much needed stem cells with already stocked materials.

Imagine a bunch of your long time friends take up residence in your living room, and so have a bunch of their friends, and people you don’t even know.  All of them grow overweight and lazy; suffer from constant sugar or alcohol hangovers, and all day long they watch reruns of “Days Of Our Lives.”  At this point you may think, if my friends did this in my living room, they wouldn’t be my friends.  You might even get angry.  However, this is an analogy for the cells of the body.  There is no reason to get mad at our own cells.

Now imagine early one morning walking into your living room with a trumpet and playing reveille.  Your friends would get the message loud and clear, wouldn’t they?  “GET UP OFF THAT COUCH AND GET TO WORK!!”  They would start cleaning up, at least in the moment.  Castor oil tightens up mammalian cells, it gets them exercising.

All of our cells have the same DNA blueprints.  Heart cells are the same as brain neurons and fat cells.  The only difference is where the cell shows up for work.  Let's say its the kidney department, the cell asks, "Hey, what are you guys doing.  What’s the job?"  The other cells say, “You are in the kidney department, read your manual (DNA,) get in line, and do what we do.”  The cell then turns itself into a kidney cell.  What is also in that manual is how long the cell will remain on the job before it is retired.  This is called cell apoptosis, programmed cell death.  When the cell retires, the elements of the cell are recycled and new cells are made from it.

Castor oil reminds cells of their responsibilities, acting like a reset button for cells that go rogue.

At some time in your life, you have probably had a computer go into some kind of loop where it no longer listens to your commands.  I relate this to cancer cells.  Cancer cells no longer follow their DNA user guide, at least not as we know it.  Can castor oil cure cancer?  We do know that it reduces inflammation, and that it encourages proper new cell growth.

When I hear an off-balance washing machine, the sensitivity of my ears warns me that something is wrong.  My question is, “Can I recognize when I have unbalanced metabolic processes?”

Metabolism is defined as the chemical processes that occur within a living organism in order to maintain life.  Toxics like mercury, and drugs will throw our metabolic systems out of whack, which in turn will throw us off balance like a washing machine, except it will be ten billion washing machines (cells) in our body, all shaking themselves to pieces.

If the sensors to my systems are damaged, I may not be able to recognize when my own body is out of sorts.  My five senses, feeling, hearing, seeing, smelling, and tasting, all use the same basic sensory systems, they all use cilia.  If I start losing those senses, or others like my sense of balance, it may mean bigger problems are on the horizon.

In response to gravity and movement, the stereocilia in our inner ears allows us to balance.  Little chunks of chalk called otoliths, calcium carbonate, press upon these cilia and inform us of direction.  I will know I am off balance because of the signals they send me.  If these cilia receptors, are damaged, they will not longer hear their cues, and therefore cannot relay important messages.

Many sick people, and many old people, begin to lose their balance as they age.  Falling over and getting hurt, losing ones balance, should have nothing to do with old age.  Instead, what is happening is the person begins to lose their cilia, their registers of balance.

MERCURY TOXICITY

Mercury rips apart many sensitive biological cells in larger organisms, where as smaller organisms, like facultative bacteria, methylate mercury.

From the University of Calgary, there is an online time-lapsed video of mercury placed in a petri dish next to a brain neuron.  Within minutes of exposure, the video shows the neuron quickly being denuded of its protective covering.  When mercury burns off these very tiny extensions, a person may lose feelings in more ways than one.  It can be neuropathy, tinnitus, a lack of sensitivity in the skin, or the lungs no longer react to toxins and can't dispel them.  Desensitized, it can even be a lack of empathy for others; the person may lose their ability to feel for them.

A regular symptom of mercury poisoning is ‘labile emotions,’ where the emotions are extreme, and erratic.  Rather than feel what’s happening in the environment, and react to it in the moment, the person become overwhelmed by internal mercury redistributions.  Again we see that a sick person may no longer register the cues of their environments, and this is because of their damaged cilia.

Mercury readily crosses the placenta into a developing fetus.  Many sick people have been mercury toxic their entire lives.  All disease doesn’t have mercury as the root cause, but mercury can be the source of many different health problems.

Mercury poisons on the way in, and it poisons on the way out.  Organic systems address mercury toxicity in different ways.  Bacteria in one body may methylate it, another body may store it in fats, and yet another may deplete itself of sulfur trying to detox from it.  There is no conclusive way of knowing how much mercury is in the 100 trillions plus cells in our bodies.

If cell receptors are damaged, if cilia are burned off by mercury, they will not longer hear their cues, and may go on and on, reproducing themselves, without taking any direction from their neighboring cells.  This is what the HC system calls cancer.

For a mercury toxic person, the body can easily become deficient in sulfur.

Mercury is naturally bound to sulfur in the ground.  Elemental mercury is in an unnatural state, and readily binds with the sulfur in our bodies.  Gaseous mercury can easily enter into the human body through the lungs, creating life threatening health conditions.  This is why an entire school can be closed when a nurse breaks a thermometer, even if it happens in a closed office.  Faced with the facts, the American Dental Association, the AMA, and other Western Healthcare institutions, still continue to claim that mercury implanted in the mouths of people is a safe and effective type of healthcare.

ALL chelators are sulfur chelators.  Glutathione, DMPS, DMSA, ALA, all of them have sulfur as the active ingredient that may help walk mercury out the door.  I say may help because I see protocols recommending low doses of thiols and sulfur. This simply causes the body to go more deficient in sulfur.  It stops mercury redistribution.  However, all mercury detox is mercury redistribution.  The key is to walk it out the door.  I do not believe in store bought, or prescribed chelators.

The human body makes its own chelators, if it is getting enough sulfur to do the job. This is why I recommend an Epsom Flush.

To clear out the bile of the body, which can become laden with toxins like mercury, I recommend ingesting castor oil.  Every night before bed, after brushing my teeth, I ingest a little bit of our Naturules Simple Salve.  However, I don’t have much mercury in me, if any.

I consider castor oil essential for pain management.  I recently had a nasty fall and sprained my left wrist.  I vigorously rubbed the Simple Salve into my wrist and the pain was gone by morning.

CASTOR OIL MAY IMPROVE THESE

Inflammation has been described as the root of all pain and diseases, even that of dementia.  If because of inflammation, my nerves are constantly stimulated, I am going to have a hard time finding a balance between work, play, and rest.  The pain may even ‘consume’ me.  Think about how an infected splinter demands the attention.

Vasodilation means blood vessels are dilating, and a corresponding drop in localized blood pressure.  Castor oil triggers vasodilation, therefore taking the pressure off the nerve cell receptors, thus reducing pain.  The increased blood flow will also help detox toxics, and ROS.

For a person in contact with toxins, or something else causing inflammation, castor oil is an effective method to reduce inflammation.

Inflammation may come in many forms.  Allergies, arthritis appendicitis, cancer, carpal tunnel, congestion, constipation, edema, infections, itching, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, menstrual problems, prostate enlargement, sprains, strains, swollen joints, tumors, have all been attributed to inflammation.

Red eye is a type of inflammation.  Our eyes have what are called ciliary bodies, and smooth muscle.  We have had people tell us that by applying the Simple Salve to their eyes, right into their eyes, their vision remarkably improved, and their red eyes were no more.  A friend of mine has about 150 pound pit bull, and he bet me that I could not put the salve onto his dog’s, red, inflamed eyes.  I held out the Simple Salve for the dog to lick it off my hand, and then was able to rub it right into his eyes.  Within about 30 minutes the dogs eyes were no longer red.

There are five basic types of scar tissue.  Atrophic scars will be pits in the skin, perhaps caused by acne.  Hypertrophic scars are raised and red, and often occur on lighter skinned people.  This scar will generally remain within the confines of the original injury.  Keloid scars will grow excessively and beyond the original injury.  They often occur on darker skin.  Contracture scar are deep, dense scars, and are often the result of burns.  Stretch marks are a type of scar that comes from rapid growth, or an injury where the body and skin may flex.

Many people report disintegration of scar tissue from castor oil.  I do not have personal experience with castor oil dissolving scar tissue, but I  found that the Naturules Simple Salve rapidly disintegrated callouses and yellow skin on my feet.  In the morning, I would vigorously rub the salve on my feet, and then put on my socks and shoes.  Initially I felt that my feet were swimming around, slippery, and was somewhat concerned at what I would find at the end of the day.  After regularly use I began describing my feet as ‘baby’ feet.

Castor can clear up and out stubborn ailments such as ringworm, athlete’s foot fungus, and yeast infections.  Castor oil is antimicrobial against gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, molds, yeast, and viruses.  Many over the counter drugs, and prescription drugs use an altered form of castor oil called undecylenic acid.  To obtain undecylenic acid, castor oil is ‘cracked’ to produce it.  Cracking means heating and pressurizing.  Using undecylenic acid may be due to the drug manufacturers wanting a consistent product.  This may be analogous to the consistency of a Big Mac hamburger.  It is NOT the best hamburger, however it is consistently the same product.

I want to end this article with a discussion about healthcare.  I have thought at length about whether to end this on a negative note, and have decided that what I am about to explain is not so much negative, as it is honest.

I’m a guy that observes life’s little insanities and writes, or talks, or babbles about them.  I am an artist at heart.  I am not a doctor, and I’m not a chemist.

A common definition of a drug is, “a medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body.”

This definition lists a drug as ‘possibly’ being a medicine or other substance.

Let’s look at a common definition of medicine, since the definition of drug references it.  Medicine is, “a compound or preparation used for the treatment or prevention of disease, especially a drug or drugs taken by mouth.”

Here we see the two definitions cross referencing one another, and these broad reaching definitions don’t define much of anything, except to give them incredibly broad areas of coverage.  Both definitions define them as substances that have physiological effects when introduced into the body.  Under this definition, a glass of water given to a person dying of thirst could be considered a drug.  The water would have an immediate physiological effect, as the cells and organs ‘consumed’ the water.

My definition of a drug is a preparation made by the pharmaceutical industry, in particular those altered from their original forms.  Drugs throw off the balance of our metabolisms.  For example, Tylenol, acetaminophen, quickly makes the liver and body deficient in sulfur.  In the USA there are more than 75,000 emergency room visits a year because of Tylenol overdose.  Divided by 52 weeks, this comes to about 1500 emergency room visits a week.  If we divide that by 50 states, that means every state averages 30 emergencies a week from the sale of an over the counter drug.  Chances are within a short drive of your house, 4 people will be going to the hospital today because of a Tylenol overdose.

Castor oil and beeswax do not throw off the metabolic balance in our body.

Castor oil is NOT a drug.  Beeswax is not a drug.  They are not easy solutions to long-term problems.  They are not easy fixes.  Easy fixes are why so many people have been poisoned with mercury, acetaminophen, bromine, fluoride, and radiation, supplied by the healthcare industry.  If you want an easy fix, or you want to use castor oil or beeswax as drugs under the guidance of ‘medical supervision,’ talk to your doctor about it.

ADDENDUM

ROS (reactive oxygen species) are formed as a natural byproduct of the normal metabolism of oxygen and have important roles.  During times of environmental, like exposure to the sun, ROS levels can increase dramatically, and if the body cannot quickly remove the offending toxics, lets say carbon dioxide, it can result in significant damage to cell structures.  Cumulatively, this is known as oxidative stress.  A severe sunburn or frostbite are examples.

For many of us it took us years to grow sickly with accumulated toxins.  The worst thing to do would be to try and make a quick fix of a long term problem.  When it comes to detox, I recommend making a RSA (realistic self-assessment) of your capabilities.

When I overdo, I find what works best is to stop temporarily, then come back to it.  The key is to stop temporarily.  Watch out for being addictive about an aggressive approach.  That in of itself is an addiction.

"I'M GOING TO WIN THIS FIGHT!  WE WILL WIN THE WAR!"
That is addiction and EGO all wrapped up in a nice neat package.

We see armies of people fighting the good fight for their common cause.  “Fight muscular dystrophy!”  “We will win the war against cancer!”  To truly win the war, we have to ask the suffering, “Do you have mercury implanted in your mouth?  Have you had toxic exposures.”

What is your history of mercury exposures?

Human beings are oxygen based; we are aerobic.  Many who grow sickly have lots of anaerobic, fermenting behaviors taking place in their bodies. A low PH allows bacteria, fungus, viruses, and yeasts to predominate.  Practice #BellyBreath https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRRTb_PiGk8

Mercury and other toxins and drugs will throw our metabolic systems out of whack. Think of the use of the words selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. SSRI. The HC industry is not shy about telling us what they do. Their inhibitive drugs interfere with our completion of our metabolic cycles, and that will throw us off balance like a washing machine, except it will be 10,000,000 washing machines in our body all shaking themselves to pieces, making us feel like @#$#@%@#$.

Cellular Basis of Tissue Regeneration by Omentum

Based on the possibility that decreased CBF could be the cause of AD, a method was developed to introduce a large volume of blood directly into the AD brain to compensate for the decreased CBF which routinely occurs in AD. As there is presently no pharmaceutical agent that can increase CBF over an extended period, it was believed that an increase in CBF could be accomplished by a surgical procedure.

“The surgical procedure that was developed involves placement of a piece of the patient's intact omentum directly on the brain. The operation was named omentum transposition (OT) to the AD brain. Clinical studies had previously shown that the operation was safe and could introduce a large volume of CBF into the brain over an extended period.  One of the reasons that the omentum was chosen to increase CBF was the large amount of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) known to be present in omental tissue. VEGF is the most angiogenic substance in the body and its volume in the omentum is eight times greater than in any other area of the body.

…the patient was in the advanced stage of AD, having institutionalized for months and no longer recognizing his wife, he subsequently underwent omental transposition to his AD brain and had excellent postoperative cognitive results. The significant cognitive improvement by the patient stimulated his wife to write a book, titled Alzheimer's Surgery: An Intimate Portrait, which described the success of the surgical procedure. Castor oil will not carbonize at high temperatures (over 700F)

Castor oil has a high film strength, which helps prevent metal-to-metal contact between points on an engine. This makes castor motor oil an excellent racing lubricant for high-performance engines.

Castor oil does not “adapt” to its surroundings. Meaning, it stays in its current form regardless of climate, temperature, location, etc.

Castor oil has a natural attraction to heat, which means that it will actively seek out the hottest spots in an engine.

Castor oil puts off an incredible smell, one that has acquired considerable fame ever since it’s first use in the early 20th century.
